Albus Severus "Al" Potter (b. c. 2006) was a half-blood wizard, the second son of Harry and Ginevra Potter (née Weasley). Albus was born two years after his older brother James Sirius and two years before his younger sister Lily Luna. He was named in memory of Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape, two former headmasters of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Neville Longbottom was named as his godfather.

In 2017 Albus began his education at Hogwarts with Rose Granger-Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy and was sorted into Slytherin House. Albus quickly struck up a friendship with Scorpius, one which in time would grow to become very deep. He struggled with his father's legacy and pressure that was heaped upon him by others.

Antioch Peverell (fl. 1214) was the eldest of the Peverell brothers. Antioch, like his brothers, was skilled in the magical arts, but personally was described as being a "combative man". Antioch and his brothers were the inspiration for the The Tale of the Three Brothers and thus the original masters of the Deathly Hallows. Antioch was said to have possessed the Elder Wand, though the exact circumstances of this are unknown.

Cadmus Peverell (fl. 1214) was the middle of the Peverell brothers. Cadmus, like his brothers, was skilled in the magical arts, but personally was described as being an "arrogant man". Cadmus and his brothers were the inspiration for the The Tale of the Three Brothers and thus the original masters of the Deathly Hallows. Cadmus was said to have possessed the Resurrection Stone, though the exact circumstances of this are unknown.

Euphemia Potter (died c. 1979) was a pure-blood witch. She was married to Fleamont Potter, with whom she had one son, James.Thus making her the paternal grandmother of the famous Harry Potter, and the great-grandmother of James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna Potter.

The Evans family are the famous Harry Potter's maternal family, and are known in the wizarding world for Lily's loving sacrifice that saved Harry from Lord Voldemort when he was just an infant. Mr and Mrs Evans were proud of their younger daughter being a witch and appeared to have favoured her over their other daughter because of it.

They are related to the Muggle Dursley family and two old wizarding families, the Potters and Weasleys. They lived near Spinner's End in Cokeworth, sharing residence with the Snape family.[2] Lily's parents were Muggles, as was her sister Petunia.

This family is extinct in the male line, but not in the female line. When Harry married Ginny Weasley three more people were added to the family: James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna. Through Dudley's marriage two more children were added as well.

Fleamont Potter (pre-1909 – 1979) was a pure-blood wizard, the son of Henry Potter. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Gryffindor House. At some point after graduating Hogwarts he married Euphemia. Fleamont was the father of James Potter and the paternal grandfather of the famous Harry Potter. He was also the great-grandfather of James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna Potter.

Ginevra Molly "Ginny" Potter (neé Weasley) (b. 11 August, 1981) was a pure-blood witch, the youngest of Arthur and Molly Weasley's (née Prewett) seven children, and the first female to be born into the Weasley line for several generations. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1992-1999 and was sorted into Gryffindor House. During her first year, she came under the influence of the memory of Tom Riddle's sixteen-year-old self. The memory was preserved in a diary, which forced her to re-open the Chamber of Secrets, endangering the lives of many students, including herself.

Harry James Potter (b. 31 July, 1980) was a half-blood wizard, the only child and son of the late James and Lily Potter (née Evans), and one of the most famous wizards of modern times. In what proved to be a vain attempt to circumvent a prophecy that stated that a boy born at the end of July of 1980 could be able to defeat him, Lord Voldemort tried to murder him when he was a year and three months old. Voldemort murdered Harry's parents as they tried to protect him, shortly before attacking Harry. This early unsuccessful attempt to vanquish Harry led to Voldemort's first downfall, marking the end of the First Wizarding War and to Harry henceforth being known as the "Boy Who Lived." One consequence of Lily's loving sacrifice was that her orphaned son had to be raised by her only remaining blood relative. Harry was raised by his Muggle aunt Petunia Dursley, where he would be protected from Lord Voldemort, due to the Bond of Blood charm Albus Dumbledore placed upon him. This powerful charm would protect him until he became of age. As the only known survivor of the Killing Curse (up to that point), Harry was already famous before he arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Ignotus Peverell (12 July, 1214—19 May, 1292[1]) was one of the three brothers mentioned in The Tale of the Three Brothers in The Tales of Beedle the Bard . The youngest of the three brothers, Ignotus was also described as the humblest and wisest of them, and had survived Death's cunning schemes due to these traits. He received the last of the Deathly Hallows, the Cloak of Invisibility, which was passed down through his family to the Potter family, and eventually to Harry Potter.

James Potter (27 March 1960 – 31 October, 1981), also known as Prongs, was a pure-blood wizard and the only son of Fleamont and Euphemia Potter. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1971-1978, and was sorted into Gryffindor. When James started at Hogwarts, he met and became best friends with three fellow Gryffindor students: Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. He also met Severus Snape, a Slytherin student with whom he became bitter rivals. During his seventh year, James was appointed Head Boy and began dating Lily Evans.

After graduating from Hogwarts, he married Lily and together they had a son, Harry James Potter, of whom he made Sirius Black the godfather. James, Lily, and their friends all fought in the First Wizarding War as members of the Order of the Phoenix; he and his wife defied Lord Voldemort three times. However, James and Lily were forced to go into hiding after a prophecy was made concerning Voldemort and their infant son. James and Lily were ultimately betrayed to Voldemort by one of their close friends (Peter Pettigrew).

As a result of this, James was tragically murdered by Voldemort on Hallowe'en in 1981, along with his wife, while they were trying to protect their son.

James Sirius Potter (b. c. 2004) was a half-blood wizard, the eldest child of Harry and Ginevra Potter (née Weasley). James is two years older than his brother Albus Severus and four years older than his sister Lily Luna. His godparents, as well as his uncle and aunt are Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

James was named in honour of his paternal grandfather and his father's godfather (James Potter and Sirius Black). He began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 2015 and was Sorted into Gryffindor House.

Lily J. Potter (née Evans) (30 January 1960 – 31 October, 1981) was a Muggle-born[9] witch, the younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Evans and the younger sister of Petunia Evans, who would later be the person who would take care of Lily's son. She learned that she was a witch as a child, after Severus Snape (a wizard boy who lived nearby) recognised her as such and told her of the existence of magic. Lily attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1971-1978. She was Sorted into Gryffindor House and was a member of the Slug Club. In her seventh year Lily was made Head Girl and began dating James Potter.

After Hogwarts she married James and they had a son, Harry James Potter, of whom she made Sirius Black the godfather. The couple, along with their friends Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew joined the Order of the Phoenix during the First Wizarding War; she and her husband defied Lord Voldemort himself three times. Lily Luna Potter (b. c. 2008) was a half-blood witch, the youngest child of Harry and Ginevra Potter (née Weasley). Lily has two older brothers, James Sirius and Albus Severus. She was named in honour of her late paternal grandmother Lily Potter, and her parents' good friend Luna Lovegood.

Lily began her education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 2019 with Hugo Granger-Weasley and was sorted into Gryffindor House.

Peverell was the surname of a medieval pure-blood wizarding family. Hermione reported in early 1998 that, according to Nature's Nobility: A Wizarding Genealogy, the Peverell name was among the first to "become extinct in the male line," meaning that the name had died out among wizarding families, but not the members of the family itself.

After several generations and numerous marry off sinto muggle families and otherwise a new name manifested. Potter were the true descendents of Ignotus Peverell.

Weasley is the surname of a pure-blood family (though the most recent generation has many non-pureblood members). The Weasleys know many other wizarding families, including the Blacks, Prewetts, Longbottoms, Crouches,[2] Delacours, and Potters, as well as the Muggle Granger family. All members of the Weasley family are red-haired and Sorted into Gryffindor upon attendance of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
