Creekside Discovery Centre Educational
The Creekside Discovery Centre is run by the Creekside Education Trust. The Centre works with others to promote the long term care of the Creek by: + Providing opportunities for access, real information and opportunities to get involved. + Keeping a watchful eye on the flora and fauna and trying to deal with problem issues as they arise. + Provide a focal point and voice for the Creek. Facilitating sessions on local habitats, their management and the value of the local wildlife living there. + Offering ecological planning advice for Creek wall improvements and local habitats to developers and partners.

Ha'penny Hatch Infrastructure This Blue painted footbridge replaced the old wooden crossing in 2002 and links between Creekside in Deptford and Norman Road in Greenwich. It's a lifting bridge to enable tall boats access to the inner section of the creek. The path is adjacent to the Creekside Discovery Centre and spans over their access to the creek. Thames Tideway are busy over in the Greenwich Pumping Station preparing groundwork for an 18m diameter hole 60m deep due to be dug there from 2017-2020. The path will be re-routed but will stay open during the excavation. The Look out for the MAZI markers there and around the creek. Hoy Kitchen Business The [Hoy Kitchen](http://thehoykitchen.eu) is situated in the old Hoy Inn on Creek Road. The original pub was built in early 1800's. Minesweeper Collective has reclaimed an historical ex-military vessel and transformed it into a floating art laboratory. We are a co-operative structure specialising in creating collaborative artwork. We run a screen-printing studio and an art gallery. We organise creative workshops and live music events. Our printing studio is accessible on certain days for beginners to learn about the process of screen printing their own designs.

Tidemill Gardens A collaboratively run community space in Deptford. Local residents manage and maintain this unique and mature green space, that it is free and open to all. The community rediscovered the garden after the old school closed down and it is now shared as a “common resource". Despite the sites uncertain future due to its proposed development, the community want to ensure it is saved and enjoyed as a public space for the people of Deptford, now and in the future.
