IIMC Aizawl
The Aizawl Regional Centre of IIMC was inaugurated on August 8, 2011. Despite proliferation of newspapers and television channels in the Northeast region of the country, there was hardly any centre for media training facilities in the region. The IIMC’s new Regional Centre at Aizawl aims to bridge this gap by training media professionals who could contribute to this ever burgeoning sector. The Institute is housed in temporary premises provided by the Aizawl University and runs the PG DIPLOMA IN JOURNALISM (ENGLISH) at present. Eight acres of land has also been made available to the IIMC by Mizoram University (MZU) within its Aizwal Campus, where a permanent campus for IIMC will come up. An MoU was signed to this effect between the IIMC and MZU.

The campus is presently located in temporary premises provided by the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
